B.wine is the mastermind of Raphael & Christine Burki , both from Switzerland and still make two vintages in two hemispheres each year, their winemaking philosophy is rich with insight from both the Old and New World, producing classy wines that express a personal perspective of Martinborough and the Wairarapa.

Lime Hill vineyard is located north-east of Masterton on a hillside 150m above sea-level with magnificent siestas of the Tararua rangers, Wairarapa, New Zealand. The soil is identical to Burgundy. A small top layer of clay and limestone underneath. The vineyard work follows organic principle. The winemaking is done in the gentlest way to guarantee a natural product where all the excellence of the terroir comes into its own.
