William Frederick Shiraz
Intense fruit concentration with fresh and elegant silky notes of chocolate and rich fruit. Finesse and a very long finish on this delicious wine.
Named in honour of Trev’s late father; William Frederick Harch (1910 – 1976), our pinnacle Shiraz is seamless and delicately crafted from only the finest parcels of fruit.
Gold | 2022 International Wine Competition (IWC) | “Intense fruit concentration with fresh and elegant silky notes of chocolate and rich fruit. Finesse and a very long finish on this delicious wine.”
Totally opaque ink black wine in the glass, the aromatics are dense, intense, complex, savoury and spicy, with a volley of violet/spring blossom florals popping over the top. The palate is dominated by big velvety pillows of fruit, which are masking substantial foundations of submerged tannins. This is a big, but elegant, ‘depth-charge’ of high country Shiraz. Cellar under the right condition with confidence for up to 15-20 years. ~Jane Ferrari~

Balanced, rich body with ripe tannins and aromas of plums, raisins, blackberries, vanilla and cinnamon. Textured palate with notes of ripe blackcurrants, chocolate, prunes and sweet spices and a long perfumed finish. ~2022 London Wine Competition~
A smoky and dense shiraz, with lovely concentration on the palate. A wine with fresh and juicy fruits, slightly dusty, savoury notes and very good length. ~2022 Decanter World Wine Awards~

Cellaring: Enjoy now after decanting for an hour or two, or cellar under the right conditions with confidence for 15-20 years, through to 2038
